We care deeply about the people in our communities. By taking the time to listen, learn, and reflect on Indigenous histories and current realities, we can walk together on a shared path toward reconciliation.

Honouring Indigenous Peoples begins with understanding. Each of us can take meaningful steps, such as expanding our knowledge of Indigenous heritage, learning about ongoing issues, supporting initiatives such as purchasing an orange shirt, or contributing to organizations that uplift Indigenous communities.
At the Excel Society, we remain committed to supporting reconciliation. By listening, learning, and reflecting on Indigenous histories and current issues, we walk together on a collective journey toward meaningful change.
Reconciliation is an ongoing process of healing relationships. It requires truth-telling, acknowledgement, apology, and commemoration of actions that recognize past harms and support lasting change.
Listening means educating ourselves, taking responsibility for building knowledge, and being open to difficult truths. This step is continuous, personal, and looks different for everyone.
It is our responsibility to learn about Indigenous cultures, histories, and perspectives. By engaging in ongoing learning and discussing reconciliation within our communities, we contribute to a more inclusive, respectful future.

Purchase your Orange shirt and help support justice and awareness for Indigenous peoples.
